![]() Simply put, this DVD kicks ***! The concert is great, the video is from a good print, the audio is excellent. Alice is fantastic in this performance and then to find out he is drunk the whole time, like all the postings say, the commentary alone is worth the price. Buy it, you wont regret it! ![]() This was my first DVD title and well worth the purchase price. This tour was Alice at his highest of heights during his alcohol years. Although I would rather have the Go To Hell tour on DVD, this is fantastic. This looks and sounds stunning. All the great hits are there and the interview track is worth the price alone. Trivia buffs will love it because one of the dancers on this tour wound up becoming Mrs. Alice Cooper. ![]() Alice cooper never has a bad show. With his stage shows there is never dull moment. ![]() This was one of first DVD's I purchased. Being a Cooper fan since the 70's I was anxious to take it home and watch it, after all I had seen Alice in Concert. The lowest rating I could give was a 1 star and that was about 90% too high. What a disappointment! I would suggest to people to save their money. The audio is horrible! The video is just as disappointing! I saw Alice in 1998 and the ticket price was less expensive than the DVD! It made me bring back memories of a worn out 8-track tape. The 8-track had a much higher quality! ![]() I'm a fan of the original Alice Cooper group (which broke before this album and tour was conceived).Although the album is great the concert itself can seem a bit "cheesy" at times and the band tends to lean towards a (by 70s standards) heavy metal type of sound. What makes the DVD so great is Alice's (and his assistants) comments throughout the entire concert-funny,informative and at times a confession of his past alcohol problems.Concert highlights include the dance routine during "Some Folks" and the live action/film footage combination of "Escape".If you get it,get it on DVD. |
