![]() Without a doubt the best value DVD around. Two discs, Angle selection, Oodles of extras, And best of all it is of the best band in the world. ![]() I bought this DVD with high expectations, and that is exaclty what I got. With over three and a half of live performance this is the best Metallica video ever. I love the multiple angles you have on three out of the songs. I play the drums, so the whole song was left on the angle that caught the drummer, this feature is a very good thing to have on a DVD. This is a very good DVD, if you like Metallica, that's the video you'll wanna get. ![]() Metallica sets the standard for all the others! Outstanding camera work, outstanding sound quality and of course an outstanding performance by the group. Best DVD I have purchased to date. Not a Metallica fan? This DVD may change your mind. ![]() This is a great acheivement for the band, and a great acheivement technologically speaking as well! A few random thoughts... - Metallica is an awesome live band, and some of their songs actually sound BETTER live. Given the complexity of their music, that is pretty damn amazing. So What, Creeping Death, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Last Caress, Am I Evil? and a few others are really enhanced by the extra energy of a live performance. - James's voice is worn out, but I didn't find it distracted from the quality of the DVD. He doesn't sound BAD, but the wear and tear is clear. - The best part about concert DVDs is the replay value. I have watched Cunning Stunts several times, so even if you aren't a die-hard fan, it definately pays off to pick up a copy. ![]() finally a dvd which uses the "angle feature". There is no jump from angle to angle it is a smooth transition. the sound is first rate and the bonus material is more than any metallica fan could want. the sound on the dvd was better than when i saw them in concert on this tour. |
