"More drunken anthology than Live Footage"
I hoped to maybe get a live concert like off of Live 101 Proof but there's mostly drunken, behiind-the-stage antics going on. Its fun, play along, match Dimebag shot for shot, but it gets a little old. There's a good live Cowboys from the '91 Moscow Festival, but no Live TrendKill. The cool videos off of Far Beyond are within all the meyhem and not in the menu. Probably a True-Fans-only DVD but I know I'll keep mine.

"Cowboys from Hell that don't let up!"
As a native of Dallas, and a Pantera fan, I enjoy seeing the club footage shot in "The Basement". Pantera are relentless in this footage of life on the road. I enjoyed the live music footage the most, and though I rate the DVD highly, I wish it had an option to only view the music, and not all the antics everytime, though they are fun to watch the first time through. I would say any Pantera fan would be pleased to own this in their collection!

"Awesome DVD about an awesome band"
This DVD compilation of all of Pantera's "home videos" is a great insight into the band itself. Now be forewarned, this is not the videos you want to show the kids (unless you want them to grow up and be rock stars) and simple minded adults beware as well. It will truly offend your delicate sensibilities. Nudity, swearing and the use of a certain plant that some folks roll up and smoke abounds in this production. None of this bothered me. I was unaware of just exactly what goes on in the life of a big time rock and roll star. This release leaves nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to the imagination. It displays many of their fan based philosophies. Phil Anselmo goes to bat for a single fan that is being jacked around by security. Most bands don't really care if half the audience gets ejected as long as they have paid for the ticket. The fan interactions are what makes Pantera a band for the fans. This is a band that loves their fans and wants everyone to leave their show just blown away. Which they usualy do. Pick this DVD up and feel the intensity that is Pantera. Special guest apperiances include Skid Row, Alice in Chains, Kerry King of Slayer, Rob Halford of Judas Priest fame plus many others. There is also some footage of one of their guys who sat on a copy machine and went through the glass. What is shocking about that you might ask, well the guys pants and underwear were down. He was going to xerox his rearend and wound up with multiple lacerations on his checks and and legs. Nothing serious though, just minor cuts and scrapes. Now another member of their crew has a gigantic boil on butt check and it shows the doctor lance it and squeeze the contents out. Truly classic material. Just check it out.

"THE HOLY GRAIL OF DVD'S!!!!!"
Before Jackass, before Tom Green... there was Pantera. The greatest heavy metal band in existance and some pretty funny people. This has got to be the best (and funniest) DVD out there. Not to mention it is about my favorite band: the one and only PANTERA! Did I mention that they were my favorite band? Anyway, this DVD includes all their videos (excluding the ones for Reinventing the Steel. Those will probably be on video #4 which is in the works). Anyway it also includes some good live footage ranging from the old days of doing club tours to the big arena tours. Other than that it is just LOADS and LOADS of home video footage shot backstage and on the road and it has to be some of the funniest stuff I have ever witnessed. Its them breaking things, getting drunk, doing stupid stuff, ect. Its just 4 hours of greatness that will change your life forever. Look for cameos from Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Trent Reznor (one of the funniest parts on the whole thing), Rob Halford, Prong, Alice In Chains, and more metal stars. Other highlights include the whole "fake hand" segment, the whole thing with the stunt dummy, all the footage of them on airplanes, the Japanese tour... hell, the whole thing is great... It even features Twiggy (Marilyn Manson bassist) throwing up. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?!!! The only bad thing about this DVD is that there is no scene selections...... But other than that it is great. This DVD cracks me up every time I watch it. Hopefully video part 4 will have scene selections. Anyway go buy this. and get part 4 when it comes out. I can't wait.

"THE TREND IS DEAD"
Got 'em all on vhs anyway, seen em and met the guys, you rule.
