![]() Another must for fans of AIC's uniqueness. As well as some truly great videos, this features documentary footage (some very, very funny stuff!!) from before the band became big, and gives you an insight into their characters & personalities. Highlights include the "We Die Young" videos and "I Stay Away" I really, really miss this band! *sob* Buy it!!!! ![]() after i got on video, my freind told me it was coming out on DVD and i was upset. aside from that, this DVD is awsome. in the begining of the dvd, they show a brief documetry of AIC (pre-columbia years). the documentry is about 10 min. then they show an un-released video for We Die Young, which was performed live(i think). then they show the original videos from We Die Youn to Get Born Again. whats also amazing, is that between every two videos they show some funny behind the scenes shot by the band while touring. the video for Sea Of Sorrow on this DVD is totally diffirent than the one in Live FACELIFT. i'm a little dissaponited with Sea Of Sorrow, because they edited (...)out of that video(especially Jerry's solo). my favorite videos are Man In The Box, Angry Chair, and Again. all the videos are pretty dark artistic. I think in an interview, Layne said he doesn't like making videos. and he also said they are great because all the videos show you what AIC see. I REALLY recommend this DVD. PS: check out Sean Kinney's humor. ![]() i already have the unplugged dvd and listened to it all summer. i grabbed the music bank dvd in the store the moment i saw it. it's a great dvd but i think if they put all the additional footages (amateur video shots) at the end or in speacial features that would be so great. those video shots pretty much ruin the overall quality of the dvd in a way. well all i need to to is skip those bad resolution tracks to move to the actual songs. great dvd overall. ![]() This is a very good DVD for Alice in Chains fans and general rock fans to have. Intercut with their music videos are live videos and a running documentary. Watch Alice evolve from a small-time rock band in Seattle to a grunge band of legendary proportions. And, on a further note, I think that the video for "Angry Chair" might just be the best music video I've ever seen! ![]() Alice in Chains was one of the most talented bands of the 90s. Falling somewhere in the mix of metal, grunge and alternative these boys from Seattle really tore it up and this video is a great creative representation of this. The videos and cool extras really make it a worthwhile purchase! I wish Candlebox would follow suit and release a similar DVD. |
