![]() Some people had a hard time finding this dvd, as it got confused with the box set in some stores, etc, but I just got it and it is awesome! Videos aren't in chronological order, but you can do a playlist thing and people are finding hidden features, so maybe there is a way of getting them to play in order. Who knows? Anyway, this dvd is incredible and for the people disappointed that Take Me To the Top and Public Enemy #1 weren't included..... cry no more! They are hidden (pretty damn well too) on the disc, plus a VIDEO for Shout At The Devil '97. Here's basically how to access these easter eggs - 1. Take Me To The Top 2. Public Enemy # 1 3.Shout 97 Hope this helps some of you out there! ![]() I didn't think I was going to be so into Motley Crue like I am today. I always thought of them as the hair metal band from the eighties. But after listening to the Dr. Feelgood album - it all changed-That album is incredible. Anyway, I picked up the greatest hits DVD two weeks ago and serves as a perfect addition to anyone's Motley Crue collection. It has all their videos and bonus features like uncensored version of some videos as well as interviews. I'm telling you this DVD is perfect for those that can appreciate Motley Crue. I Highly recommend it !! ![]() Man, what a great collection of videos and songs! I am so happy I finally got to see the video for 'Afraid', it makes me wonder even more how this wasn't a hit - it's seriously one of the coolest videos I've ever seen (and an amazing song to match)! Also, I must confess, I had no idea the Crue made 3 videos with Corabi - and they're all great (especially 'Misunderstood'). Of course all the classics are there, too. The picture and sound are crystal clear - and the interview segments with Nikki and Tommy are entertaining and insightful (I love when they discuss how underrated 'S/T' and 'Generation Swine' are - couldn't agree more). I had no trouble locating the 'easter egg' for 'Shout At the Devil '97', but still am unable to access 'Take Me To the Top' and 'Publc Enemy #1' (which are supposidly on here as well). Crue was never the deepest or most profound band, but man this is some awesome rock and it's great to see this career spanning collection of videos. ![]() Amazon is really starting to annoy me. In the past couple months I have ordered video collections from Motley Crue, Joan Jett, and The Human League. I have ordered movies such as The Final Countdown and Deadly Invasion. All of them are given release dates and you get the option to pre-order (which I have done in all of these cases) only to look at my order the day after the release date to see Amazon say that it "might be out of print" or "have trouble getting more in stock". It is getting ridiculous. If you can't get the merchandise, don't offer the damn thing for pre-order and then leave people hanging for months with no word. And no, Amazon does NOT let you know if they are unable to obtain a title, you have to contact their customer support to get any information. ![]() This DVD contains ALL the Crüe's videos. From Too Fast For Love to New Tattoo (including such gems as Live Wire, Looks That Kill, Wild Side, Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart My Heart, Primal Scream, Eslaved or Hell On High), there's nothing missing here (expet maybe the unreleased videos for Take Me To The Top or Public Ennemy # 1, but what the hell, we're getting really spoiled at this point). The bonus are quite cool too, including alternative and uncensored versions of some videos like Girls Girls Girls or Primal Scream and a brand new interview with Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee comenting the videos. Now, it would be nice if Amazon was more specific about the items, so we could be sure that this is the uncensored version, but since the DVD picture shows a expicit content logo and this version is more expensive than the other, I guess we can be sure this is the devinitive one. This is the perfect DVD addition to your Crüe collection (much more than the VH1 Behind The Music or the Lewd Crewd Tattooed live DVD's). And this will just go to show that 80's hair metal bands were surely a little ridiculous, but at least they did communicate somme good and fun vibrations. No self pitty or resignation here. Long Live the Crüe (By the way, excuse my english : I speak french). |
