 ""The Cell" it isn't but it's a hell of a DVD."I am another 30+ year old fan. The sound of this DVD is excellent as is the camera footage. DOWNSIDE-The ONLY thing I find distracting is that they play under "unnatural concert lighting" and it seems to throw them just a bit. You can tell that they seem to be out of their element with the camera lights and all. UPSIDE-I have shown this DVD to friends of mine that are NOT Metallica or Heavy Metal fans whatsoever and they all agreed that there is a lot of precise talent that goes into making this band. They all admitted their misconceived notions and that Metallica is not just loud, fist shaking, guitar slapping, ear-breaking noise. Even my friends that buy every Pop Hit was amazed at what Kirk was doing. I think Metallica gained a few more fans. I really enjoyed the perks of this heavily technology ladened DVD. For those of you that have a DVD on your computer or a internet connected media system-----you will especially enjoy the extras. I found all the photo's of the tour especially interesting. I just wish Aerosmith or Ozzy could come up with a comparable DVD. In closing, this DVD is worth your hard earned cash.  "Some Concert !!! The Best Infact !!!"This is the first time i have seen a Metallica concert at full length and it is simply great infact the concert is shot for the DVD format ..the menus are great and the behind the scenes footage the best part is the destruction scene which happens somewhere in the middle 'enter sandman'..with this guy hanging loose people running about with FireE's...and the pics to ...about a 1000 of them ..but the only thing is that you have to get into the sound and change it to AC-3..other wise right from the band playing 'so what' till 'motorbreath' the whole thing is just cool..and not forgetting the explosions in one and creeping death ...to end it...its a great DVD !!!..... 'TALLICA RULEZ "Metallica in Ft Worth, TX - Raw, energetic, powerful"This double DVD set was recorded during a live performance in FT Worth, Texas and contains a fabulous set of songs from most of Metallica's released albums up to Re-load. The performance took place on their newly designed stage and the lighting effects were captured well. The camera spends equal time on all the members of the group and there is significant audience interaction. Audio and video are above average for a live performance. If you like hard rock and metal this DVD is essential. It captures one of the most creative, enduring, and significant bands of our times. This DVD includes interviews, documentary, and behind-the scenes footage as well as different camera angles on certain songs. Since the DVD is not censored you can experience the "raw" Hetfield. But then I suspect those easily offended would in all likelihood not listen to Metallica - "So What?" "Fantastic"This DVD is awesome. Metallica is a true in your face live band. The only thing better is seeing them live. Metallica gets better with age.Metallica is one hell of a monster in heavy metal. I ALSO THOUGHT THE BOYS IN METALLICA DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE STAGE THEATRIX. THE SONGS WERE GREAT AND VARY GREATLY FROM THOSE ON THEIR ALBUMS. YOULL LOVE EVERY SONG, ALL THE PYRO, AND A POOP LOAD OF EXTRA FOOTAGE AND PIX AND SPECIAL EXTRAS. THIS VIDEO IS GREAT FOR ANY METALLICA FAN OF ANY DEGREE OR ANY CONCERT VIDEO OR DVD ENTHUSIEST.
