Customer Reviews: Total numer of reviews: 103 Average rating: 4.5 "Metallica Rocks!" I am a metallica fan, and a recent DVD owner, so when i saw this DVD i had to have it. It is the best DVD i own. The picture is perfect, and the sound is as good as any CD. The in between parts where Hetfield talks to the audience are pretty funny too. An absolute must if you are a fan. "Awesome!" If you even remotely like Metallica, get this DVD! This may even be a good reason to invest in a DVD player, this is as good as it gets. The video quality is exceptional, but it's the audio where this really stands out, man! You can really hear all of 'Tallicas songs well, especially my favs "Enter Sandman", "Sad But True" and "Wherever I may Roam", they sound great, and the crowd is absolutely nuts! Whoa, I wouldn't have especially wanted to be there, moshing in an arena that's seats are set at a 60 degree angle, that's extreme! But the music on here is fabulous! Although young children probably shouldn't hear this, there's some pretty bad language, especially on "So What", but if you are about 12 or older, this is probably okay for you, so enough, go out to your local Record Town, or wherever, and get this 2 DVD set! "AWESOME DVD VIDEO" This is almost as good as being at the concert. The DVD has an excellent picture and sound quality. Forget about the S&M DVD with the symphony. This is the one to get. "Metallica rules...leave Napster alone." Great DVD by a band of millionares. Leave Napster alone. "NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS BEING THERE, BUT CLOSE" I saw Metallica at the Summit in Houston within days of this DVD being shot. To this day, it is the best concert I have ever seen. I never thought I could capture that same feeling at home, until I saw this DVD. It is cut in a wide-open, in your face format, just like the concert itself. Metallica has come as close to capturing the feeling of being there as possible. The special effects, sound and editing make it an absolute 'must have' for even the casual Metallica fan. Other bands could learn from this one. Listen to the sound through your home stereo and tell your neighbors to go out for the night.
