"Megadeth Behind the Music Extended: A truly great program!"
Megadeth's Behind the Music Extended dvd is nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, it's a well presented, informative, and entertaining journey, detailing every part of Megadeth's career, from their start in the early 80s, through the 90s, and all the way up to the present day. This extended version includes many parts of the band's history previously left out on the aired version of the show, including many interviews and stories that help better explain who Megadeth is and the great contribution they've made to the music industry. Throughout the program, you learn about Dave Mustaine's childhood, his desire to succeed, and in short, the band behind the music we all know and love. Various stories are told, and whether they're funny or tragic, you're sure to enjoy every minute of it. Interviews with former band members Marty Friedman, Chris Poland, and Jeff Young help to shed some light on the band's past and add more to the already in-depth program. There are also interviews with Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Alice Cooper, Scott Ian, Barry Kobrin, Scott Menzies, and even David Ellefson's charming mom, Frances. After watching this, you'll be glad you spent the money and learned more about the unique story of Megadeth, their music, and the people that have helped shape their career along the way. This is a must-have for hardcore Megadeth fans, and I'd recommend it to any casual fan of the band or the metal genre in general.

"Metal Maniacs Gone Mad..... And then Reborn"
This movie documents the life of Dave Mustaine and the 18 years and counting of heavy metal's poineering force, Megadeth. Through all the chaos, drug abuse, and rage the band keeps rising to new heights against all odds. As the band becomes more successful its core becomes closer and closer to self-implosion.
This video takes you through the life of the craziest side of being a rock star. And opens up the hearts and souls of the men behind the madness. This show documents how it all started from the tormented childhood of founder and frontman Dave Mustaine to the booming success of the acclaimed new record, The World Needs A Hero. Well, now the music world has one.

"great btm"
This extended version of the VH1 show offers a lot more than the televised version. All in all it's about twice as long, with extra stuff about the early days in metallica, more stuff about the recording of their alblums, and it also talks about cryptic writings and risk, which the tv version completely ignored. the extras are ok, and the video for moto psycho is pretty cool as well. It's a must for any megadeth fan, nothing is cooler than watching this and hearing your favorite tunes in the background. Megadeth is back with a vengeance, this is only the beginning.

"MeGaDeTh - Behind the music (EXTENDED VERSION)"
Everything you ever wanted to know about MEGADETH, but were afraid to ask.... A must have for any MEGADETH fan...or even if your just a fan of music...
