"Very good BUT..."
(...) I expected a bit more. For example, there is no chapter list and the "bonus footage" is 10 minutes of tour manager, managers, etc..(a few from Lars & James, Chris Polland). The 1hr 16 minute behind the music is good but it moved to fast at times...It would have been nice to see at least ONE concert shot with live music and without all the panning and flashes going on to hype up the story. It seemed to focus more on Dave Mustaine and his drug problems than anything else...but I guess that's understandable when he's the one who formed the band in 1984(?). They also could have more interview time with Marty Friedman, who unquestionably, played with the band during their most productive years. And where the hell was Nick Menza?! This guy was their BEST drummer, why wasn't he on this documentary? If you are a fan, this DVD is worth getting...it was just short of expectations but entertaining nevertheless. The "Moto Psycho" video was kinda dull. Buy this DVD.

"Megadeth is back!"
With a new studio album, an upcoming live album and this DVD, Megadeth is back with a vengeance! This DVD is an extended version of VH1's Behind The Music. The TV-show mostly featured the earlier albums, but here you get it all, inc. the uncensored video of "Moto Psycho". High improvement over earlier videos released by the band, such as "Rusted Pieces".
A must for everyone who loves Megadeth or thrash metal in general!

Minus: Only released in the US and Canada. Zone-free player required.

"Get it now!"
Of all of the Behind the Music episodes I have seen, the Megadeth one is by far the best. And that is just referring to the televised, edited version. Not this DVD extended version. I can tell you that I will be picking this one up the day it comes out, and it will be worth every penny I shell out for it. A must have for any Megadeth fan.

"I'm watching this right now..."
This is awesome! It is an entire documentary of the band. They even have James and Lars from Metallica, and some of the previous (living) band members. This is one really well put together DVD, and the sound and mixing quality is EXCELLENT! Some of the songs (none played completely through though) are in 5.1 surround, and they sound, well, indescribable! I can't wait for the live DVD and cd coming soon! If you like Megadeth, and would like to know more about them, GET THIS DVD!
